Portrait of a homestead gone mad

Apparently, Amaretto released a horse update a couple days ago. I missed this because I don’t get notices–I’m set to, of course, they just don’t come.

The update improves the horses’ textures and sculpts. Nice. It also sets them all to default settings, like…Movement > Physical.

Imagine around 80 horses suddenly springing into overdrive and Len running around trying to corral them again. Welcome to my Sunday evening.

You know, despite the good products and service Amaretto offers, I’m still disappointed in them for one reason–yep, RedZone. Come on, guys.

Not about RedZone!

A monumentous occasion! Lenfaer’s first Amaretto horses have retired. They were the first horses I ever rezzed, the start of it all.

I swore from the start that I’d keep them even after retirement, even as I haven a number of newer ones for not producing.

My first starters were the least productive horses in Amaretto history. OK, fair’s fair–two of them produced up-mane garnets. But the very first horse rezzed at all? Not a single decent bundle in her entire history.

In other news, I was thinking today about Seawolf dragon avatars and remembered reading that at some point in the past, the creator updated them to cause fewer lag issues (this was quite a ways back, I think). So given my script-checking activities, I thought I’d check a Seawolf.
